Like its cousin, the Omega Skyline, the Omega Serenity is a stylish, attractive massage chair. Whereas the Skyline is dark and sophisticated, the Serenity is lighter and feels futuristic.
This chair has many of the same features as the Skyline, including vibration and air massage, a roller in the lumbar area, heaters, and a built-in MP3 player.
The Serenity offers a zero gravity position, completely cradling your body to make it as relaxed and comfortable as possible. The automatic recline moves the back and footrest simultaneously, and allows you to choose from several positions, ranging from upright to the seriously deep recline of zero gravity.
The Serenity features eight strategically placed vibration motors—two in the buttock region, two in the thigh area, two in the calf area, and two for the feet. Vibration courses include three automatic programs and four manual options. You can also select an area of specific focus.
In addition to vibrating massage, the chair has air bags in the seat, back, and neck areas. These airbags inflate to provide a gripping-type massage. The air feature has three automatic programs with three levels of intensity adjustment.
In the lumbar area, there is a roller mechanism to provide lower-back massage with three speed levels.
Whichever type of massage you choose, the chair also features several heaters to warm you all over and add to your soothing and relaxing experience.
Like the Skyline, the Serenity also features a built-in MP3 player and headphones, so you can plug in relaxing sounds to accompany your massage experience.
The back and base of the chair are finished in attractive wood. The base swivels 360 degrees, adding to its convenience for home or office.
The controls for the chair are accessed through a remote control built into the arm.
This chair is available in white, brown, or black. Omega offers a limited 1-year warranty on its chairs.
Unfortunately, as beautiful and aesthetically appealing as this chair is, it suffers from the same drawbacks as the Skyline.
There are not enough rollers in this chair to provide the user with a really thorough or deep massage. For its relatively steep price, it isn’t offering a lot in the way of massage. This chair is focused more on good looks and technological features. This is fine if those are the characteristics you want in a chair. But if you’re looking for a real massage experience, there are chairs in this price range that offer a deeper, better massage and longer warranty.
