Osaki OS-2000

The Osaki OS-2000 is designed to provide a comfortable and attractive massage chair that can easily fit into a corner office or the corner of your living room.

The OS-2000 is a feature-loaded chair at a very reasonable price. As one user said, “All the other chairs that had the quality, looks, and features of the Osaki OS-2000 were thousands of dollars more expensive.” At MassageChairs.com, we found this to be true as well, which is probably why we sell more Osaki chairs than any other brand.

The OS-2000 features fully automatic recline of the backrest and ottoman, plus light heat in the back and footrest areas.

After reclining you to optimum massage position, the OS-2000 implements a body scan to detect your unique body type and make adjustments accordingly. A powerful 11-motor system responds with a strong and realistic massage tailored to your specifications, and an intelligent, flexible four-roller system conforms to the contour and shape of your back.

This chair features a stroke length of 29 inches, meaning it can reach high up in the neck and low down into the tailbone section. This is one of the longest massage strokes available in any massage chair, and the extensive range of motion allows the roller heads to reach areas that other chairs cannot.

This model has four easy-to-use preset auto programs: recovery, extend, relax, and refresh. All have different massage combinations and time settings.

The massage types in this chair include Shiatsu, kneading, tapping, wavelet, pummeling, and rhythm.

This chair features an auto massage mode featuring a 20-minute pre-programmed massage incorporating all the available massage techniques for complete massage therapy.

Shiatsu features oval-elliptical nodes that slowly and gently move up and down the back near the spine, gently alternating from side to side. This is similar to the feel of a professional massage therapist. Shiatsu warms and loosens the muscles to relieve tension and prepare the back for deeper forms of massage.

The kneading feature has massage nodes that move in small, circular motions on both sides of the spine simultaneously. This relieves tension and soreness by lifting and stretching the muscles, improving circulation and relieving vital muscles along the spinal area.

This chair features a tapping-style massage that alternates strokes along the spine, stimulating spinal muscles and joint areas. This method flexes the spinal joints and relieves pressure on the spinal column, invigorating the entire back area.

The pummeling technique uses alternating strokes along the spine to stimulate blood flow.

This chair has a rhythmic massage technique with slow but firm action, stimulating specific acupressure points for back muscle relief.

Unique to this chair is a “wavelet” action. This massage style uses alternating strokes along the back that press on both spinal muscles and joint areas. This is said to aid in muscle and joint repair caused by strain from poor posture, high stress, and exercise.

Also unique to this chair is the point massage mode. You can choose from either rolling, kneading, pushing, or tapping massage and position the massage heads to where you need the massage and the heads will continuously massage the desired location.

A special moving massage mode massages from high to low along the spinal area only, using only your desired massage type.

This chair also has an added neck massage feature, with massage heads designed to target stress relieving “Tsubo” points on the neck.

Osaki is famous for its air bag technology. In this chair, a total of 20 air bags are located in the lower body of the chair to provide massage for the legs, thighs, and feet, promoting better blood circulation to the lower extremities. There are also air bags in the lower arm cuffs to provide an invigorating sensation.

The air bags inflate from the lower section upward to improve blood circulation. For the soles of the feet and calves, air bags with protrusions apply pressure from lower to upper sections to facilitate recovery from fatigue.

Air bags in the thigh and buttock sections inflate to alleviate lower body stiffness and help rollers in the back to hit key points along the spine.

The air bag and massage rollers intensity are adjustable through the main remote, or the secondary handheld remote unit. The remote also controls the MP3 function and chair recline.

The OS-2000 includes a MP3 player built-in to add to the massage experience. Headset, built-in external speakers, and memory flash card are included.

This chair comes with a 1-year warranty for parts and labor, and an additional 3-year warranty on parts.
